Blood Pressure Monitoring

Like their human counter parts, cats can suffer from high blood pressure. Some causes are hyperthyroidism, heart disease and chronic renal failure.

All cats over the age of seven should have their blood pressure checked during their yearly visit.

It is a simple non-invasive and non-painful procedure, whcih is illustrated on the left.
